The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced former Senate President, Bukola Saraki as the Chairman of its national reconciliation committee.

The appointment as chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) six-member National Reconciliation Committee came after he lost re-election in the 2019 general election and lost his grip of his home state, Kwara.

The announcement was made in a tweet on Monday night through the verified Twitter handle of the PDP by the National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan.

Other members are:

Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator Pius Ayim; former Governors Liyel Imoke (Cross River), Ibrahim Dankwambo (Gombe), and Ibrahim Shema (Katsina); as well as former House Minority Leader, Mulikat Akande.
